People Are Transforming Old Tire Rims Into The Perfect DIY Fire Pit & BBQ

Now that the summer is upon us, people are taking to the great outdoors in their droves.

While sitting in the sun has its benefits in and of itself, there are few things more satisfying than tucking into some delicious barbequed food - like a smoky hot dog or a perfectly sizzled skewer crammed with your favorite veggies!

However, as we all know, unless you're opting for a disposable, barbeques can be expensive.

But that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. With nothing more than some old tires and a few tools, you can easily create a DIY BBQ (or fire pit) - simultaneously saving your cash and helping the environment!

So, first thing's first, once you've removed the rubber from your tires, you need to cut the metal like so:

Make sure you have a fire extinguisher on hand - safety first, people!

Once you've carved your two tyes like so, you will have something that resembles a barbeque/fire pit.

After lining them up perfectly, weld them together using a smaller strip of metal.

At this point, your barbeque is lacking just one thing: a grill.

This a great opportunity to recycle, so check out your local scrapyard to see if they have anything suitable.

The final step in creating a barbeque from old tires is adding some suitable kindling and charcoal.

It really is as simple as that.

Then, you can sit back, relax, and listen to that satisfying sound of sizzling food while your tastebuds tingle in anticipation. Or, if you're just using it as a firepit, enjoy the heat!
