You know the one thing that consistently ruins every single day? The "Memories" feature on my Facebook account that repeatedly reminds me of what a 'Like'-seeking, unfunny, cringe-worthy teenager I was. Being reminded of this on a daily basis really makes me wish my parents were on Facebook, just so that they could step in and tell me to get a life and grow up.

But when you're a teenager, the very idea of your parents being on social media is enough to make you want to lock yourself in your room and scroll through adoption agencies in the hope of finding a new mom and dad.

But in hindsight, the following 21 parents were only looking out for their offspring - even if that meant savagely trolling them in front of their entire friend list in the process.
